Eitr 2 w/ forkbeard into Marani DPA2655QR

Alright well my dcx2946 started dying so I panicked and decided to go all out on the chain before building upcoming speakers. Got a Marani new for a decent price, previously ran dcx with a DDC (smsl po100) and was blown away by the DDC quality after everyone badmouthed ddc's (well what else do you use for usb to spdif genius?) Decided to upgrade the DDC too while I was at it and ordered the Eitr 2. Opted for the forkbeard digital preamp, is that going to introduce another conversion? Lastly, I have a little acrylic disk for the Eitr2 to sit on under the laptop stand, will I get any interference from it being on a metal shelf even if decoupled. Thanks.

everyone who? Depends on the model right?

Eitr 2 has not been measured by Amir yet but I suspect will be fine, or more than fine.

No FB functions as a digital preamp.

No even without your disk should be fine
