Hello everyone, this is my first post here. 
I am having an rining/humming/noise issue with my Edifier s730 subwoofer.
I have attached an audio file with the noise I hear (recorded it with a cheap shotgun mic and newbie cleaned it up in audacity to hear it better) and some pictures of the console/woofer.
Issue description: after I connect the console to the subwoofer the rining sound starts (console being OFF). If I turn ON the console (to use the speakers basically) the rining goes away. So it only happens when the speaker system is in the "IDLE" state (connected to power, subwoofer turned ON, but the console is turned OFF).
Why is this an issue?
- It's so damn loud at night during sleeping, very distracting, annoying.
For years my bandaid solution was to turn off the entire system from the ON/OFF button on the subwoofer (basically cutting power off)
Audio file noise sample:
- I connect the console/controller to the subwoofer at second 12-13 in the audio file, you can start to hear the rining sound. Prior to second 12-13, there is no rining noise as the console connector is not plugged in.

Background info:
- Bought the speakers in Feb 2014 brand new
- Been using them in normal parameters, no excessive loud volume and stuff
- For a few years this issue wasn't present, but I think it's been like 2 years since it happened.
- Tried another power cable and other wall plugs (issue is still present)
What could be the cause and how can I fix it?
