Edifier MR4 + T5s Subwoofer

Hello all,
Just some concerns if I have dine correctly buying a Subwoofer Edifier T5s to pair with Ms satellites MR4

Before buying the Subwoofer, my MR4 were fine, just missing a little bit of bass levels. So I decided to buy the T5s and connect everything correctly.
Unfortunately the T5S seems too much for my sound setup as I usually play games and happened or I felt the following.

I do not have any idea of how to setup the Subwoofer.l so I put the back knobs lower than the medium wheel. Approximately 20.00 pm.

What I am feeling is apart of hearing the bass too much for me, seems that the T5s is reducing or lowering the high sounds( High levels) from the MR4 and the Subwoofer is like eating the other sounds.

There are now too much knobs to setup, the 2 from the MR4 and the 2 from the Subwoofer, and really I tried to setup as best as I can but still seems that the MR4 high levels are now not enough.

In resume I do not know ifnis better to return the T5s and keep only the MR4 loosing bass but gaining high levels or keep it and use a extra equilizer software to setup both.

Any ideas of how can increase the hights ?

Lower the subwoofer volume.

As a first try, play some pink noise before and use a phone app to get a general idea of volume.
