Edifier MR-5 Description / Stand Question

I was not aware of the existence of such a model, I was so far away from this sector. In fact, it is a very nice model, my horizons have expanded, thank you very much for your advice, I even feel like I will most likely buy this model.

I thought I should buy a hi-fi bookshelf speaker at first, but the dac / amp issue, extra costs, wiring cooled me down. then I learnt that I needed to find something close to the computer because I was going to listen at the computer while looking a little more. these led me to studio monitors. actually I liked it very much plug and play and people listen closely to these products. In fact, your mm6 recommendation sounded like the exact product I was looking for. just listening to clean, detailed, muddy, not muffled music in front of my computer. while researching, I discovered the in-5 model, my budget is in it, but if I'm not a professional, it made me question whether I would really need it and I stayed a little away, but if someone said in-5 is exactly what you are looking for, I would go and buy it :D

your are not pro , not work with , probably old : no need in 5 , mr5 is x3 less and 3 way

attention !!! Monitor speeker are not all easy to put in normal situation : RCA , TRS input from computer : problem of wire

attention 2 : monitor price its for 1 in general ..

These things get pretty low for how small they are. I may just get a pair for the hell of it. This hybrid three -way design has me intrigued.

mr4 with sub vs mr5 with sub mmm pink periodic graph (mr4 and mr5 max volume, sub same volume)

Well the Edifier connex app won't connect to the speaker anymore. Tried power cycling and forgetting and reconnecting BT but am stuck on this screen.

Got mine finally. Measured them in my room at the listening point and received this. After some EQ to tame room modes they sound really good. No audible distortion at all.
This response looks like quite accurate in-room "translation" of the data published by manufacturer - no trace of "V" shaped or up-sloped overall FR trend. These will definitely be my new desktop speakers...

no man they are definitely bright. if they were neutral they would slope downward in the treble

Tweeter level from approximately 7 kHz is slightly tilted up (not stated the opposite anywhere) , but definitely there isn't any "V" shape or even completely up-sloped trend. Not in "monitor" mode. ;-)
EDIT: By the way, flat treble doesn't necessarily mean that the speaker is bright. Treble rolloff will occur when you listen/measure from a greater distance and off-axis. This is not a rule and it depends on things like distance, ear/microphone position, and room reflectivity.
