I use my Echos for voice commands to play music with a WiiM streamer set as it's preferred speaker which is in turn connected to a stereo amplifier.
Until very recently it would just send music to the streamer so if the amplifier was switched off you could still use the Dot for timers etc. and the voice would come out of the Dot's speaker and the stereo didn't have to be switched on.
It's recently changed and now it sends everything to the streamer so if you're setting timers whilst cooking, if the stereo's not on you don't hear them.
Anybody else found the same / know of a fix and or what's caused it?
