EC Designs Powerdac-S AND Powerdac-R

Has anyone heard of this interesting company called as EC Designs based in Netherlands. They claimed to have have made a dac called as Powerdac-S which can directly drive loudspeakers without any amplifier in the chain.

I know, an old thread that apparently got nipped in the bud... But maybe undeservedly so? They now brought out the PowerDAC-SX which has even higher output and should work with speakers 90dB and up. A couple of raving user reviews on AS...
