Eartips - have a significant impact on an IEM's sound - Would like to fully understand the WHY - please what are the factors involved?

i've got my own manner, i take look at my internal ear each day since decades and i can stretch my eardrum by pulling slighly the earlobe.
I also have the ability to move my left ear from two centimeters without moving anything else on my face... is there any study that prove that there is no muscle to do that !
Perhaps yes, the study can exist, will the study be wrong.... no, not necessarily.

Thank you everyone for your great suggestions.

I'll go through them and make a list.
It is hard to decide if there is no pro/con or comparison in the recommendation.

High on my list are the Final Type E and Tangzu Tang Sancai

The Feaulle H570 sound interesting. They are made from Latex and not Silicone. How is this different in sound and comfort?
Latex, very comfy, soft and grippy. The sound profile is the on brighter side. I had to bring bass back by 1.5-2dB in EQ, but the vocals, soundstage that opened up. I tried Fiio HS20 and H570 wins comfort wise. Both are wide bore tips.

Hello,
Do you hear your IEMs static, walking or running ?
In silent or noisy environement ?
Do you notice the sound changes with the moisture raising in you ear within the time ?
If you ear any diference in sound with the moisture, how long time did it takes ?

The Final Type E (Size SS, S and M) and Tangzu Tang Sancai (S and M, both Sizes in balanced and wide bore) werde delivered yesterday.

The Final Audio Type-E are relatively large. Even the SS feels bigger than the FiiO HS20 Size M
Not very comfortable in my Ear with the S12.

The Tangzu Tang Sancai are better. With the wide bore style I have the feeling as the nozzle touches the ear canal. The balanced style are better but after some time they also irritate my ear. Also today after sleeping they feel kind of scratched.

I tried Fiio HS20 and H570 wins comfort wise. Both are wide bore tips.
How is the grip on the IEM? My only problem with the soft silicone of the HS20 is that I loose the ear tips

The HS20 are somewhat loose, just like you described them, and don't properly seal against the canal skin. Too soft material which looses it's shape, I guess. And somehow I didn't like their tonality. H570 sound fuller and warmer to me than HS20.

Is it really worth paying more for pricier memory foam eartips? Are there any other tips that last longer but still keep that same natural sound and smooth highs like memory foam does? I’m kinda interested in the Dekoni Mercury, but I’m not sure it’s worth spending twice as much for something I’ll have to replace anyway. I’m currently using the Moondrop MIS Tips T55 and honestly, they don’t feel that different from the much cheaper KZ TB High-End Memory Cotton tips (not the regular KZ foam ones)
