It is a nice DIY built clean deep bass is really nice. There are few thing you should be aware of or avoid when building such a subwoofer which where not mentioned in this video or done wrong there.

1. The installation of the cable inside the box should be well thought. With this amount of energy a loosely installed cable will flap around inside the box and create some very ugly distortion. You can fiddle the cable through some damping material or fix the cable inside the box and on the driver somehow. The difficult part is that you need some extra length for the installation of the driver and this extra length is likely to flap around, therefore many people shorten the cable before installing the terminal to keep the cable as short as possible.

2. You have to be aware that dust inside the cabinet isn't good at all for the driver since it can end in the voice coil. Therefore you should drill the holes for the driver mount earlier and do some cleaning of the box before installing everything. Dust from the damping material or small parts from it should also not be inside the box.

3. You have to be aware that the damping material is well fixed. It is the same thing like with the cable with such a subwoofer everything inside the box will be shaken a lot and the material might become loose and knock on the membrane.
