Actually sounds like an Italian dish of sauteed veal scallops finished in a pan sauce of white wine, butter, and capers. The name sounds like some kind of fetish.
Thanks. Fixed.Tradutto or Tradutta?

But actually, it means "translator" in Italian. The name sounds like some kind of fetish.
Yes I saw that too... unfortunately this DAC is not doing a good job at translating and it seems it's deaf in one ear, even though it's Earman. Maybe if both channels worked it would be Earsman? But actually, it means "translator" in Italian.
You say tomato and I say tomato.Tradutto or Tradutta?
"Just for the tombstone"
not top notch even 4 to 5 years ago. 106db sinad is low even by 4 -5 years back standards.LOL. If both channels were working properly, this unit would probably have been considered a top notch performer 4-5 years ago, and at $750 worth every penny. Amazing how the bar has been raised in this segment.
1% at about 16kHz - that's equivalent to an amp going into clipping.Look at the distortions above 5kHz (most important because reproduced by the tweeter) and then compare to topping d70s
I'll just have the Eel TrovatoreActually sounds like an Italian dish of sauteed veal scallops finished in a pan sauce of white wine, butter, and capers.
SMSL SU-9n has this thing thorougly beat in every way for less than half its price.Leaving aside the broken RCA, I see no good reason for this product to exist. It doesnt have the mystique of DACs like the VMV D3 and its unobtanium chips, its not got the performance of the D90 and its ilk and if I was taking a punt on a relatively unknown brand and untested design, I wouldnt bet £700. I think @Hapo quoted some of the company blurb about this on another thread and it was the usual schtick. Probably a reason they didnt publish the measurements
What Italian?? Tradotto means translated, tradotta means a rail line for exclusive use by military, traduttore means translator…tradutto only rhymes with rutto (a loud burp)…But actually, it means "translator" in Italian.
Ogni traduttore è un traditore
Mhm, and no one word about stupid I/O setup and big tax for nothing (small box, cheap package overall) here ("rekmmm...view"). Boring and sneak oil. Meh!Someone like this DAC very much.
Annyway, traduttore is translator in English, I guess tradutto got lost in transaltion, same as some bits of data...
