The way I am doing it is finding the T2P resonance frequency by fitting the IEM in my ears the way I will use them to listen to music, and then using frequency sweep generator to find it. After that I am inserting the IEM into the IEC711 coupler with depth that will generate the same resonance frequency. The resulting frequency response is used to equalize to my target.

Oh that's a pretty cool approach! I never thought of that before. What software of frequency generator that you use? I wish to have frequency generator that the frequency can be adjusted with mouse scroll. REW generator doesn't work with mouse scroll so it is very inconvenient to adjust the frequency using keyboard. I don't have hardware frequency generator. That would be nice to be able to adjust the frequency using hardware know.

I think the ER2XR would be better with a hole in the shell behind the speaker
