eARC hdmi audio extractor broke?

Hi all,

I have a prozor arc audio extractor connected to my LG oledC2 tv. the prozor outputs optical toslink to my Peachtree amplifier.
Since today it only gives a kind of static sound, I've tried resetting, power off, reconnecting everything, but it keeps giving this static.

My question is, can such equipment break all of a sudden? I think it's rather weird....

Make sure the TV is still set to PCM or Auto. I accidentally had mine (Orei brand) on passthrough on my LG C9 and I got rising static noise..

Thanks for the heads up, I checked again (as the TV also got an update recently) but that settings seems to be correct still.
