Dyson "air purifying" headphones?!?!?!

I like the '2016' proto type' the best.

This is a brutal technical takedown of this concept.

It's multiple tweets so scroll down to read each tweets:
I never heard of Naomi before. I shall endeavor to return to that state.

If only 'Snot Cannon' wasn't such a catch phrase.
There was a show I saw in Baltimore back about 50 years ago involving ping pong balls...

lucky!
Usually the plastic bits break, and spares are priced so that it's cheaper to buy new.
Look in any Tidy Tip in the the UK - they are packed with Dysons!

I'll stick with my Miele!

What speaker problems do you have that would need support?

We had a Dyson, and we went back to a Hoover at the cottage (built in at home). Yes, the Dyson is good in that it technically does not loose suction. Unfortunately, it never really has any even when all filters cleaned. I would rather clean the Hoover (takes about 30 seconds), as it has far more power. It was also about 1/2 the price. Neither are remotely as good as the built in.

Apparently, you can wear it while listening to Genelec's

Is that a B&K 4100?

Lots of effort for an april fools joke, but that's marketing for you.

I see a few practical issues.
1: not everyone's head is equally wide. When putting it on there must be a sliding or flexible connection.
2: For blowing air through filters you need some power and motor/pump in a small form. These all make sounds especially when mounted in cups (think microphony) no matter how silent they may appear in a room at 1meter.
3: Filters would have to be replaced/cleaned regularly.
4: Will be difficult to speak to people, you would have to take it off.
5: motors/pumps draw significantly more power than a BT receiver or a few mW headphone amp. Requires substantial batteries.
6: if this were real it would make more sense to market a face mask only delivering 'purified air' and not only combine it with a BT headphone

As a joke it is a substantial one.

Hahaha, I just saw this on facebook. I suppose one can "feel it coming in the air tonight" whilst playing some Phil Collins.

I purchased these when they came out and I use them almost everyday. I especially use the air purifier attachment when working out and it's really helped me with my breathing during my workout. I look like a robot haha, but I'm happy with the product's performance. I have almost all of the Dyson products because they really are of high quality. I do think that they are on the pricier side, but in this era, it's hard to find prices that match the quality of the product. My Dyson products lasts for years because if there are parts that need to be repaired, I just purchase replica parts on FixPart and repair them. I'm not only extending the life of my products, but I'm also contributing to a sustainable future. I really recommend the Dyson Zone.
Before anyone here seriously considers them, they will most likely want audio measurements.

Ahhh the good old days. The Fells Point Pub Crawl on St. Patrick’s Day. We may have stumbled into each other there. The vast amount of alcohol consumed. I’m surprised that we survived that?
