The 15C is still in the development stage, and I think the right time to open a dedicated thread will be during its presentation in Anaheim at the NAMM show. At the moment, apart from a few speculations, nobody knows anything about the 15C ..I've never been so impatient to see speakers released; Just be patient, man!It might make sense to start a new thread for the 15C to keep the discussion separate from the 8C.

Wouldn't 15 inch drivers be a rather poor choice for midrange?

I don't know what the capabilities of their compression driver are but we are pushing things away from my comfort zone here. A 15" midrange is going to start beaming at 900 Hz even if it really can remain rigid enough for those frequencies, and I prefer not having a crossover in or near the vocal range so wouldn't want a Xover that low anyway.

How far does one extend "among"? If you really stretch it, you could even include these as being among the most accurate:
That said, objectively, the D&D 8c speakers once set up according to the manufacturer's recommendations are more accurate than the majority of speakers. Take a look at their published Spinorama measurements.

I hope so, it's what I bought into. Because they have such good directivity, they are very good to EQ.
But I'm interested to know, as a "Master Contributor" what do you think?
If you look at the Spinorama ranking (if you accept that as a measure of accuracy), I think it's a pretty fair statement to make.

and the measurements support that claim. it's why i auditioned and then bought a pair, and whatever the opposite of regret is, I have it.
