Dutch & Dutch 8c Review

I have customers who use subs with them usually large room fairly distant listening position and/or just like to play really loudly.

We have a customer with 8C + two of our subs, apparently works very well. I don't think he necessarily lacked bass, but had some room mode issues, so using subs helped get a more even response.

Ahh … less expensive model … sounding as good … yum … looking forward …

I was hoping for a 10C and less for a 6C
I can't afford either so my opinion is irrelevant lol

Oh … two models …

I hazard a guess:
1x1” + 1x6.5”
1x1” + 1x6.5” + 2x8”

How close is my guess?

Nice interview of @Martijn Mensink on the Soundstage Network youtube channel where he explains how the 8C works in in a good and detailed way so that anyone can understand it.

New member on this forum! this thread has been a godsend as i have looked to finalize my setup. Ended up getting the 8C's here in the US. I have paired them with a Hifi rose RS130 streamer but also have a turntable and a few records i like to play every now and then, curious to understand if anyone has paired a turntable with the 8c's and what that's been like?

It works really well if you have a phono with XLR ‘out’ you can plug straight into the 8Cs
XLR input set to analogue.

Thanks Keith, i suppose as an alternate, i could swap out the streamer and replace with something like the RS151 and reduce the box clutter?

Definitely consider a Parks Audio Puffin or Waxwing. Do the A/D before the phono stage!

You’d just need a cheap SPDIF to AES adapter and you’d be all set. With short (<10’) cable runs l sometimes just use a plain ol xlr to rca adapter.
