If it's the same as those on the 8c, then 8 inches. How big is the woofer in the back?

One eight inch. Driver is a little different than in the 8C.How big is the woofer in the back?

In the 8c Seas looks to have supplied the tweeter and midrange. There were pictures from the assembly, where you could quite easily see the Seas Prestige numbers on both midrange and tweeter... Can't remember exactly but the rear woofers most definitely could be Wavecor subwoofer drivers.
Can't remember where I saw the pictures... Think it was 6moons...
I suspect we won't find out until deep into 2026 for full release and good measurements of the bass module.I'm still looking around, waiting for the inspiration / advice / experience to move to (or just add) an active system. Many good options around!
How could I choose between the 8C vs 6C+bass module? 4.5x5.5x2.7m room, all kinds of music, occasionally loud, love to put the speakers against a wall. Any thoughts about best option between these two?
Any updates? Thanks. This coming weekend the Dutch audio show in Veldhoven. First presentation of the Dutch&Dutch 6C.
Will let you know my first impressions.

Thanks for taking your time to share your impressions. If you say it didn’t need a subwoofer at 85db that’s quite impressive for such a small speaker. I am always impressed how these small active systems manage to have more bass extension than many floorstanders, even if you eq them. This show was very well visited, very crowded. Not the best place to really have a good understanding of the capabilities of this speaker. So just my first impression:
The room was quite small. And warm and crowded.
As you can see in the picture it was not perfectly fitted frontplate , but I was assured this would be improved.
The speaker looks very nice, even my wife liked it. To that is a big plus. Nice colour options.
Lots of deep base and good detail, reminded me of a studio loudspeaker. Bit forward soundstage.
I heard at 85db, so plenty loud.
For the quality of sound, materials and looks I believe it is a good offer for everyone looking for a small speaker that plays like a full sounding floorstander. Does not need a subwoofer for most.
Filled the room with sound and was not too critical of the listening position, compared to some other room (piega).
I am used to much larger dynaudio confidence floorstanders with a more mellow and deeper holographic sound which tend to relax me more, so it can’t replace them is my first impression. Sorry for my wife
So a very good looking and great sounding speaker for size, cost and capability to fill an average livingroom 25-30 m2.
but it deserves a better listening in your own room.
The marvels of DSP. Beefing up the low end but also keep it in check with increasing volume to protect the driver. Thanks for taking your time to share your impressions. What a great set up! I can almost feel the bass by just looking at the pictures .The marvels of DSP. Beefing up the low end but also keep it in check with increasing volume to protect the driver.
Very nice for its size but a real subwoofer or bigger (>12 inch) woofer is needed for bass you feel.
My 8M’s with subs, using a minidsp SHD Studio with Dirac, all

The DSP in a speaker can be configured to boost subbass, but also limit the output in that region. So you will have deep bass at modest levels, but at louder levels the deep bass will not play louder because of physical limitations. What a great set up! I can almost feel the bass by just looking at the pictures .
But what exactly can DSP in a active speaker like the Dutch and Dutch do to increase bass extension what normal PEQ on a passive speaker can’t?
Quite a few brands these days use a DSP which knows about the XMax characteristics of the driver. Then you can model out how loud the bass can play without exceeding driver excursion limits. The idea if that you end up with lower bass extension when playing at a low volume but you get more output and less bass extension at higher volumes. What a great set up!
