there has been substance. Also some of us like anticipation on something that has been rumors for years and have been patiently waiting. A lot of these projects are discussed on here as they go on for months then years, so does it become substance only when it’s shipping? That would eliminate 50 % of the threads on this forum

It won’t be game over for them because D&D has an enormous fan base in the recording of audio world.

Which brings another question. Will these speakers have a low latency mode for recording? Ideally less than .5 ms but under 1 ms I’d still be able to use

I’ve had 8cs since 2019 and have been very happy. Can’t imagine not trying the 6Cs. Will probably work great for surrounds and a center in my media room.

My paintings are fake, yes that is a DacMagic, The 6c is on a IKEA Bekväm stool.
But ofc, the Dutch & Dutch 6c will come with it´s own dedicated stands.. both for home and studio this time.

For a 4m x 4m x 3m(H) study room, which is more suited? 8c or 6c?

(Normal loudness ~75dBC, occasional head banging loudness ~90dBC, at listening position)

Something like that. Think more advanced.

I am hoping (fantasizing?) software will adjust the rear woofers to create a steering effect similar to W371A for the bass stand (12C?). I assume the 6C will have rear woofers, and also hoping such functionality will come to 8C.

"More advanced" = the same idea, but bring my own sub of choice?

Look comparable to Genelec 8341A size-wise though notably deeper. Probably goes lower too.

Biggest questions for me are distortion below 1kHz and vertical directivity. I simply assume they ace everything else. 2-3 months until we find out.

With a smaller driver and refined waveguide, there's a lot to hope for.
