Dutch & Dutch 6c

If you can send it the L and R signal stream from a 5.1 source from which you can connect the D&D via AES/EBU, it will not care where it came from.
So, again, it depends on your 5.1 setup.
I want to send it an aes signal from PC via RME Adi and string the speakers together via aes cable. So in to speaker 1 and also out of that same speaker to the next one. So no separate left right signal and no 5 1 setup. Also the subwoofer would be connected to the 8c directly.

Can I expand my current Dutch& Dutch 8c's and Arendal 2S subwoofer with these into a 5.1 set?
Making a multichannel set up with the 8c's and 6c's will work, and actually, be a very good tonal match (obviously)
Usually, a multichannel processor is used in a multichannel set up.

It would be nice to now the exact date of disclosure of the details so we can stop guessing (or not pulling the trigger on a different speaker).
I can´t give you the exact date, but before end of this year.
Restrain your trigger finger.. that´s all I can say .. for now ;)

Would it work by daisy chaining the speakers ass well? So basically asking if you are expanding the software to 5.1 capability.

That's what I did with the 8C and, I suspect, the 6C will be similar.
"Beginning at far left, there is a plate with the serial number, followed by four signal connectors, the first three XLRs. The first of these is the main audio input, which can function as a balanced analog input or as an AES3 digital input. When used as the latter, the adjacent output provides throughput to another 8c (footnote 3), and each speaker can be assigned the left, right, or both channels of a stereo source. AFAIK, the daisy-chaining will work only in pairs: LF/RF, C/Sub and LS/RS since AES will carry only 2 channels. The only potential way to daisy-chain all would be to use Dante or Ravenna/AES67 via LAN but would require network (RJ45) in-and-out as well as software support. Not likely.

Can we have some teaser technical specs?

Will you be providing measurements or arranging for them through Amir or Erin?

Guidance on price?

Guidance on cosmetic finishes?

Guidance on cosmetic finishes .. what I can say is, yes , there will be a complete white version for your living room :-)

Thanks did not know it couldn't support 5.1 signal

I am also curious about the front wall coupling. If the speaker’s depth is shallow, that would mean that the cardioid response wouldn’t have to go as low. Hopefully that’s the case, and it allows for close listening distance

I'm curious about how many angels can dance on a pinhead.

Is there a way of unwatching a thread until something of substance is posted?
