Dutch & Dutch 6c

Currently have Revel Studio IIs in my living room.
Seriously considering D&Ds.
My room is 22ft w x 17ft d x 9ft h.

Seems the 8Cs would fill my room better than the 6C but the 6C w\sub is intriguing.
Someone earlier listed the 6S sub at ~21,000 euro(!), is this speculation or realistic
Have you considered the Ascilab C8C which should be available sooner than the 6C and looks set to be a lot cheaper? It will also have companion sub units, to be released later.

Is there any plan in place to provide measurements, either directly or through reviews, at some point?

Listened to these at a local expo and ended up spending as much time with them as the rest of the show (including for example 8380As). Maybe I was in a good mood cause almost every speaker (even Amphions) sounded pretty great despite the seemingly awful rooms, but these easily took the cake. I'm pretty set on DIY speakers but if I wanted to burn some money, just getting these would save a lot of headache. Should have asked for the playlist though

Thank you for your kind words! It was a great show. Thank you for taking your time visiting our room :)

Hello everyone

Any chance someone had chance listen 8c and 6c side by side?
I'm the bass head (not gonna lie) and I'm bit worried about 6c.
My room is quite small 17ft x 12ft but I have wide opening to kitchen which is another 14ft x 10ft.

Thanks

Overall I can't find much information obout 6c. Just one review so far...

Hi everyone,

I’ve been the happy owner of the 6c for a week now, after a truly impressive first listen. I waited for the official Dutch & Dutch stands, which arrived today, and one of them is badly welded, so the base isn’t level at all. Quite surprising when it comes to Dutch & Dutch’s quality control. I suppose I’ll have to wait for customer service to get back to me, hoping I’ll actually be able to set these speakers up one day

Could it have been a shipping damage perhaps?

No, that’s not possible, because the boxes were intact, and more importantly, everything is solidly welded, just not level. There’s no twisting or sign of damage on the metal, which is otherwise nice and thick and heavy. Also , in the photo, the badly welded foot sticks out on the other side of the floor base, which is damaging the floor.

Hi PYPY13,

I’m sorry. This is not the quality we expect either.

We recently found the same issue ourselves in the first production batch. After checking more stands, we rejected the batch and sent it back to the factory.

We’ve worked with this metal supplier for years and trusted their QC, but this is ultimately our responsibility. We should have caught it before it reached you.

A new batch is being made now and we expect replacements to arrive in about three weeks. Customer service will follow up with you and make sure this gets resolved.

Sorry again for the frustration. We’ll make it right.

Martijn
