They look like larger compact speakers.
But they have an enormous membrane surface area and, thanks to the compression tweeter, also offer plenty of headroom at the top end.
We can't wait to find out more.

I mean.. I asked for bananas and got them. I'm pleased even though it could be very, very tiny AI bananas fooling us

No AI was harmed during this exercise, and yes, these 7" bananas are somewhat the correct scale!
Seeing them for the first time, they immediately made me think of Earl Geddes’ Summa NS-15. Of course, here they’ll be a different beast altogether. http://www.gedlee.com/Loudspeakers/NS15.aspx

15" waveguide with a compression driver? I don't get into the semantic debate very often but surely we're allowed to say "Horn" here? 
This is pretty exciting, although I would be surprised if it comes in under $20k/pr, I would also be surprised if it doesn't end up with a reputation for being a must-demo in that price range.

It's much more likely to be north of 100k though.
These are huge! Should be very fun party speakers.

That seems high to me... But to be fair so does the pricing on the rest of their stuff. Well, it makes no difference to me, $20k or $100k, either way might as well be a million for my budget.
Will be a good reason to attend a hi-fi show, I guess...

Those without the dosh could consider the still impressive JBL 4367 with 15" bass to upper mid driver and say, a Benchmark amp to drive them, total cost well under twenty grand in pounds or dollars I think.
I got the possible size wrong, so maybe the same as regards costs, but would these new models really be north of fifty grand the pair? Truth will out I'm sure and good luck to the company!

I would guess it will be positioned ~50% above the Genelec 8380A which is about 20kEUR/pair (Germany) - how much exactly we may know after NAMM.
It will be interesting to see how well the 15" woofer/ tweeter integration is solved in this design.
