Hello everyone,in this video:

I’ve got a pretty interesting amplifier to review.

The AAM8 model boasts highly impressive specifications.
Single board houses two TPA3255 chips, each operating in PBTL mode, which allows it to deliver 300W RMS of output power per channel.

The board is very well-assembled, and it features swappable operational amplifiers.

Operating from 32V to 48V DC with built-in undervoltage and overvoltage protection,it makes choosing a suitable power supply incredibly easy.

The amplifier arrived in a plastic case along with a set of cables for connecting the speakers and the power supply.

In addition to the standard AUX input,you can feed a balanced differential signal to the amplifier by setting a jumper.

To do this,I connected an extra board that allows for convenient XLR cable hookups.

With an SNR of 117dB,the amplifier has a noise floor of ~36 microvolts for the balanced input and ~48 microvolts for the single-ended input.
This means absolutely zero hiss,even on the most sensitive speakers.

For heat dissipation,the amplifier features smart cooling.
The fan kicks in automatically only as needed,so if you're listening to music at low volumes,the fan won't even turn on.

The amplifier maintains extremely low output distortion at both low and high volumes:
200W RMS at 0.1% distortion (6Ω)
250W RMS at 0.1% distortion (4Ω)

I connected the Fosi DS1 via the 4.4mm balanced output.

The first thing I noticed was the massive output volume,even with my 32V power supply.

I actually had to lower the volume just to listen comfortably,it's a good thing the DAC itself has dedicated volume buttons.

My subjective impressions.
The sound is incredibly clean.Over the balanced connection,channel crosstalk is completely non-existent which makes the soundstage feel exceptionally wide.

This is great DIY board with exceptional specs.

it also has single ended... i suppose you can just not wire it up if you dont need it

there is no switching capablility i guess

also you need the binding posts but yeah if you truly need xlr and that brz one isnt enough

Yeah,it comes with plastic case,probably it is 3D printed,but we can come up with something better.

my read of this is that its not PFFB

also budget for a 48v 5a assuming that's enough for a dual tpa3255 design

The module doesn't seem bad in itself. It doesn't have a PFFB implementation, but it appears well-designed.

The OP is missing some key objective measurements and seems less like the kind of review we have come to expect here on Audiosciencereview and more like an unboxing video and soft sales pitch... But the amp seems worthy of a closer look for sure.
