The gui I was talking about is batchencoder, misspoke when I called it batch converter earlier. A simple open source app that can be used as a gui to convert between most audio file formats.

A primitive application that will not be of any help to an inexperienced user, and an experienced one simply does not need it.

Please provide an example of a command line that can be used to compress a DSF file so that it can then be played in a standard player, such as JRiver MC.
The WavPack documentation disagrees:

This is right there on the top of the features list on the front page of wavpack.com

As for command line, just wavpack "filename" will do. No special requirements.

Yes, indeed. I forgot about the easy mode and focused on processing raw files for the client's needs
