I’m looking to buy a new measurement interface but have a hard time to decide between the dScope M1 or the Averlabs. Both cost approx the same and have approx the same specs except the M1 take input levels. Do you have any comments on the software differences or anything you think might seperate them? What would you choose?

It’s for hobby use to measure power amps, preamps and dacs. Some cases would be diy designs and others for commercial products just to check how they measure.

You won't be able to measure anything that is state of the art. The analyzer distortion will be higher than them.

If that is OK, then look at the specs for input voltage swings. That would determine if they are good for power amplifiers.

I will probably be using Jan Diddens autoranger to optimize the operation point for the ADC.
