Douk Audio G7 is Coming! TPA3255 Amplifier with a Built-in Power Supply!

What matters most Jimster480 is that you are satisfied with your new acquisition and that it reproduces your favorite music as you like and appreciate it:
the 'rest' are just objective 'numbers' that cannot be compared with your necessarily subjective emotions since they are your own, which in this case is often called by some 'musicality' ;)
That is an interesting viewpoint. Soon Amir will publish a test result on this very amp. I was going to send him mine, but Douk has sent one to him directly; which means they are obviously confident with its performance.

Have to say, I was expecting something similar from Aiyima.
This device diverges noticeably from the recent rounded Fosi style, so I had some difficult on promptly recognize it as one of their products.

Anyway, it's a smart POV on the "amplifier affair" and I could be one of their potentially interested customers. ;)

Power supply. There are questions about the quality and longevity of the capacitors. And the absence of components in place of the filter.

For anyone interested in this amp, Douk Audio Direct is currently selling it via Amazon for $299

PFFB have become selling point for good reason, should be on product page in big bold letters.
If it has almost flat frequency response like Douk A5 then thats another point to highlight on front.
But it seems not to be as flat as the A5. I use A5 ion my electrostats instead of a Fosi ZA3. Big difference.

The use of two TPA3255s with two channels and the resulting load stability of up to 2 ohms would have been the most important feature of this amplifier for me personally.
Why didn't you make this switchable so that you can switch between 2 and 4 channel operation?
Exactly. Just my thoughts aswell. I had hoped it would be so each TPA3255 was coupled in a sort of floating balancdd mode and by have plus/minus 48volt supply where the circuit could deliver a total of 20 ampere. Because the market need an affordable amp that can handle low impedances. I use the A5 on my electrostats because the PFFB tame the frequency response. I use the 48v/5a supply. Consider to add a 48v/10a, add more capacity and use a very short cable with higher gauge. But still a balanced TPA3255 pr. channel each with 48v/10a would be a hit. Sp Douk what do you say? Is it possible to couple up the 3255 like this. Could it be an potential upgrafe?
