Dolby Atmos for headphones via and AVR?

On PC there is the Dolby access app there you can purchase Dolby Atmos for headphones. I've noticed that watching movies on Plex on my PC sounds incredible. This is with 4K Remux files. I have an Astro mix amp Pro connected to the PC via USB and then pass through is enabled on the Astro and it just sounds incredible when you have Dolby Atmos for headphones spatial audio enabled in Windows. I would like to be able to watch my movies on my new ugoos AMB 6 plus with coreElec connected to an AVR surround sound, but with an option to plug headphones in to the AVR and still be able to have it sound as good as Dolby Atmos for headphones spatial audio enabled on the PC how would this be possible to achieve? currently the headphone port on an avr like the x1700h does not sound as good as pc - dolby atmos for headphones Spatial Audio enabled. Also I just use Sony xm4 over ear noise canceling headphones. I love them because ANC is a must. open to changing the headphones but they would need to have equal or better ANC and comfort

I'm in the same boat. I currently can only listen Movies/TV with headphones. I have a set of Sennheiser - HD 800 S which sound absolutely amazing on my PC/PS5 as I'm using an external DAC/AMP.

I have a Denon AVR-X1700H connected to my TV/Nvidia Shield which I use for movies/TV - which can still drive the headphones well, but not as well as the dedicated AMP/DAC.

I'd very much love any advice on which AVR to go for which would either allow me to use an external DAC/AMP (via a "pre-out" I believe?) or one which has an amazing headphone amp/dac built in.

which dac/amp do you use for the ps5/pc? I'm thinking of trying out the Fiio K11 with my ugoos usb output

I'm using the Mayflower Arc mk2 & Qudelix - Q5K currently - though had both for years and now looking to upgrade.

Looking for advice on which AVR to go for which would either allow me to use an external DAC/AMP (via a "pre-out" I believe?) or one which has an amazing headphone amp/dac built in, to get the most out of my HD800S.
