Does anyone know what's in this Ugreen dac?

what the dac chip is
It looks like it's KT0210.

The product number on the Amazon site is 25836.
It shows up as CM720 in my Mac's USB information and has that PID (see screencap, shown in hex).
It doesn't show more information than Manufacturer: Realtek.

Yep, seems to be;
... which may not be great really, but probably fine;

KT0210 supports up to 24/96. The Amazon page mentions 32/384 (and DSD).
Edit: added screencap with supported sample rates for the device, from macOS.

I'm happy with the dongle, zero issues.
However, I listen 'on the road' at moderate levels using the Moondrop Chu2 iems. ymmv.

I do wonder what chip is really in there.

It was already mentioned:
PJV mentioned he owns one and it can output 32/384. KT0210 only supports up to 24/96 so it can't be that.

I have the cheaper version, not the one in the link of the OP, which indeed goes up to 24bit/96KHz.
Connected to the PC it also says KT USB Audio, the dongle linked by OP has surely another DAC.

Thank you guys. I need to just order the JM20 or 30 already.
I haven't seen mention of it here on ASR, but I have the JM20 and the JM20 MAX, and I prefer the MAX. If your headphones/ IEMs are especially efficient, the JM20 is probably fine. I prefer the higher power output of the MAX.

Does jm20 max have high noise floor with high sensitivity IEm like Simgot ew200?. I read specifications & it has really strong power, what sound signature it gives you?
I am considering jm20 max & jm80e(which advertised have low noise floor)?

I have used the JM20 and the JM20 MAX with the same IEMs (7HZ Zero2) and to my ears neither dongle has a sound signature. As far as noise floor, both are silent in absence of signal. In a typical setting, I think the ambient noise that will leak in past even a good seal will be far higher than any noise generated by either unit at maximum output. That said, my IEMs are not particularly sensitive.
