Do you use Light mode or Dark mode on your operating systems?

For all the operating systems you use (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, etc.) do you use Light mode or Dark mode?

For me personally, I always used Light mode on Windows, macOS, and iOS. Recently switched to Dark mode on all three and seem to like it.

Should add that I go one step further, I even use f.lux to make the white more paper-like. I turn it off when gaming or watching a movie, but otherwise I don't have neutral colors anywhere really

Dark. But it depends on the app.
If I'm typing in stuff, say in the awesome Notepad++, I tend to prefer traditional black letters on white background, but FB2K, I like it white text on black background.

Light. I worked on terminal screens enough that I prefer a light background although green characters on a black background are tolerable.

This is more for the operating system itself rather than websites. For example, I use Dark mode on all my operating systems but view ASR in Light Theme. I voted for Dark mode.

Neither, I have 1000's of MS spotlight pictures i have copied and stored on my server and let the OS change the scene every minute
My trading screens they are dark

I use dark for everything but on ASR the dark mode is rather useless so use light mode with brightness turned right down

I have a current preference to dark, at least when working. That's great, except for the incompetent email reformatting that is applied by the company security software. It makes the text black to go with the background. Win win?

Since getting an OLED monitor for my desktop, I run dark mode all the time. On laptop, I use light mode since content varies all the time.

I just got a new lappy with an OLED panel, but finding dark mode is screwing with my eyes too much (or maybe its the 240Hz refresh or the PWM flicker)... was keen to use dark mode though to ensure the longevity of the panel. Have switched back to light mode with reduced brightness, seems to be easier on my eyes.

Light mode. I hate the afterimage after reading light text on a dark background, so much so that I can't stand to read articles printed white on a black background. As a result I simply don't understand how everyone copes with dark mode

When reading text I prefer black text on a white background. When I write code (not very often these days), I prefer a dark theme in my editor. I prefer dark mode on my phone.

I do like the Breeze Dark theme in KDE Plasma Desktop. However, I prefer light mode on macOS and Raspberry Pi OS.

Dark mode mostly these days but I'm not dogmatic about it and switch back and forth depending what suits me better in a given situation.

I switched mine (macOS) to dark as soon as it was available and have never looked back. Much easier on my eyes.

I also set any applications that offer the option (and do not follow the OS) to dark, as well.
