Do you have Tinnitis? (Ringing sound in your ears)

My wife and I often do use captions, but more as a convenience so we don't have to have the sound up so high from the TV, also handy when watching shows with a lot of British or other accents... I mostly use my cheap hearing aid for tinnitus relief in my R ear, seems to distract me a bit...
