If so, what do you think? Advantages? Disadvantages?

I can guess that if there are more people in the listening room, MMM can have its advantages, right?:

Here's what WiiM has to say about MMM:

Benefits of Room Correction with MMM

  • More accurate room analysis
Unlike single-point measurement, MMM collects data across the entire listening area, giving a more complete picture of your room’s acoustics.
  • Optimized for multiple listeners
Sound is optimized not just for one "sweet spot", but for everyone in the room—ideal for shared or open seating areas.
  • Minimizes the impact of room imperfections
By averaging across positions, MMM reduces the influence of reflections, standing waves, and furniture placement that typically distort sound.

Is it in some kind of evaluation phase?

The microphone should be pointed at the ceiling in MMM measurement mode and it seems with the UMIK-1, that I use, it is easy to get the calibration file for that. :)

The 90-degree calibration file has "_90deg" in the name e.g. "8100002_90deg.txt." Use this file when pointing the microphone towards the ceiling.
