Hello,

I decided to add noice cancelling into my old Bluetooth headphones, by taking everything inside and putting them in a new 3M peltor earmuffs (I know how original).

My question is when I took apart the headphones I kept seeing lots of copper wrapped cables, Im only interested in the two I'm going to replace (cable was glued to the headset bridge so I had to cut it off), the first is going from the PCB to the battery, where the positive (red) cable is wrapped in copper (green), the PCB connection for green is labeled 'B-'.

The other copper wrapped cable is the one going from PCB (right cup) to the left driver, PCB labels L+ and L-, where + is wrapped in -.

I've already bought a usb-c cable to use for the battery connection, and an AUX cable to use for the driver non of which has any copper braiding, now I'm not sure if they are going to work or if they will destroy the audio quality.

I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of quality if it's unnoticeable to the untrained ear.

#1 Battery to PCB is the power supply shielding is not necessary
#2 Headphone level one side to the other shielding is not necessary. If there is an amplifier in each earcup , do shielded earcup to earcup signal.
