Hey guys,
I just wanted to share some photos of my O2 + Tone Bored DIY project I made. Hope someone finds this interesting!
Here a little info
The case was brought off the shelf, I drilled the holes ect. This was bought off toabao. For about 10 usd.
Tone Bored was bought off toabao on sale for about 70usd. I Soldered on the back of the rca connectors for the input of the O2.
The O2 was bought mabey in 2012? From JDS Labs themselves. I then removed the battery terminals and cut the pcb for fitting purposes.
Did a few mods to the O2 itself, I added a rear power port.
It's sounds great. I was previously using a Asus xonar stx as my DAC. That broke so I figured it was time for something external.
This was a fun DIY project and I recommend anyone to copy me! I'll be happy to help and share some useful videos and resources.
