Hi all,
I am looking for an advice on which drivers to use for my diy hometheatre.
It will be a 7.4.4 config using Denon 3800h with Dirac ART. Its a dedicated basement space, approximately 25m2
I already have subs - 4x CSS SDX12 sealed. They will be placed middle of each wall.
Atmos and surrounds will be using Sica 6.5 coaxial drivers (unless 5.5 is a much better choice?).
My question is on the fronts and center.
From my previous projects, I already have 3x Purifi PTT6.5(extended stroke alu version) and 3x Bliesma t34b with a waveguide.
However, I am debating whether for the sake of consistency, ditch bliesmas and make a 3 way speakers with purifi and Sica 6.5 coaxials.
(Either version will be active with Hypex plate amps).
Bliesma t34b is definitely a higher end speaker than Sica, but what is more important in HT in your opinion?
-having same speakers everywhere
-having better speakers for front and centre?
Cost for 3 additional sicas would be negligible in the grand scheme of things, so thats purely a suitability consideration.

The sica isn’t going to be able to go as loud . If you end up going with sica ill
Buy the lone 34b could use one for my center channel.
