I run a class-A headphone amplifier which is a Nelson Pass's Aleph amplifier. It was a diy-community project in Korea 16 years ago and is still my definate favorate over Topping A70 Pro which I recently purchased.

However it doesn't have 12v power trigger feature which I find very useful in Wiim Ultra. I did a web search and found this which seemed like a perfect solution.

Instead of ordering the module, I decided to make one myself because I wanted to customize configuration of IEC connectors to my amplifier for perfect fit.

Everything was purchased at Aliexpress.

I resoldered DC terminal rotating it 180 degree, but it wasn't really necessay.

Did you use a short bolt and nut to attach the C14 sockets. I can’t quite see from the photos?

Just built one of these tonight. But I took a slightly different approach and spliced the box into a 2M kettle lead and enclosed it in a WagoBox Pro. Then have a 3.5mm jack lead coming out of the box up to the trigger out on my pre-amp.

All in cost me £18 from Amazon in bits, and works a treat. Loving to be able to power my vintage Audiolab 8000PX from my 6000A

Is there away to make a power sensing 12v output. So when it sense a current say over 2 Watts it sends out a 12v signal?
