Dirac calibration guide for non techies

Is there an easy to understand guide for Dirac calibration with Umik-1 for non techies like me? I am having a hard time understanding the volume adjustment part. Don't want to set speaker levels too low or high.

I'm several levels back from you, at complete newbie stage.

I don't understand how Dirac can be used at all in a hifi system that doesn't have a 'Dirac compatible device' in it, and makes no use of a computer at all.

Is it impossible to use Dirac in an old fashioned hifi set up?, albeit with a Yamaha network amp in it.

Not possible, of course. Something needs to do it so it either resides built into a component or installed in a computer.

Sorry forgot to mention in my original post that I have Integra DRX 3.4 with full range Dirac but want to use Umik 1 instead of original puck mic for better results.
