Digital RCA length

I want to make a custom digital rca cable from my streamer to my dac.
Im going to use mogami 2497 and amphenol rca jack.

My question is can i make the cable as short as possible? Since the streamer and dac is literally side by side so i want to make like 40cm cable to avoid cable clutter.

That should be fine. The cable is 75R coax, so should work well.

Yes, that would work. You also could buy this one already made up for not much money with Amphenol connectors. 45 cm.

It's long cable runs that can become a concern, not very short ones.

I want to thank you all for the answer and info's. however i lives in Indonesia so i cant buy from amazon. But i can get mogami cables and amphenol quite easily from local online marketplace.

You should be able to find something similar. I use some of those cables and they work great. I have no idea why they think anyone needs waterproof cables.

With a quality 75 Ohm communications coax and well designed component output & input stages, 100 feet should be easy.
