Digital Players/Streamers with fast forward and reverse

I currently have Yamaha NP-303 digital streamer which I have a Hard Drive connected into the USB interface that allows me to play all my songs from a mobile app which all works fine, however I have to play the songs from beginning to end and I can't just Fast Forward to just play certain parts of the track when I am just tweaking setup to get the maximum sound. I can do it easily from PC using Foobar which is great. I was looking for a player that has this function but none of the sub £250 players have this and you have to spend 500-600. Surely this can't be so difficult to incorporate into the electronics or is it!!!
