The more I search and get feedback, the more confused I get on what to choose from after all
Yes, welcome to the world of audio forums ha ha. Did you get something already? If not:
- Which exact TV model do you have?
- Does it actually even have analog outputs? If so, can you adjust the volume? (Most TVs analog outputs are fixed; some you can switch in a setup menu to be variable). Then you just need an amp; I'm using
https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...ds/aiyima-a07-tpa3255-review-amplifier.18984/ This little thing actually has significant power, unlike many of the cheap amps. Runs cool.
powering passive JBL ControlX (not 1x) at one location. I have it with the volume high, essentially running as a power amplifier. Works well!
- If the TV has Bluetooth output, I think there is a Bluetooth version of that amp. There are also Bluetooth JBL ControlX if you can find them used; they are very nice with decent bass for their size.

Not yet, I was on vacation and now back :)
The TV model is a Snoy Bravia KDL-42W828B, to not list all them here and have the exact refenrece, it can be seen here in the manual: https://www.libble.eu/sony-kdl-42w828b/online-manual-625631/?page=0014
Volume can be adjusted and the TV has sound settings to change some levels (not just the volume output)

I was also considering the AIYIMA but then I got told to look into other options (specially digital) one because I could connect also other devices like media player (which I also use on a daily basis) and not just the tv
