Hello everyone,

This is my first post here so forgive me if I mess anything up.

I am looking for a simple stereo power amp to power my ls50 meta speakers that I use near-field at my desk. Currently my setup goes like this.
PC -> Modi 3e -> RCA switch-box -> RSL ia255.1

My current plan is to change it to this.
PC -> DDRC-24 -> RCA switch box -> Magni Hersey (pre-amp) -> power amp

I am also integrating my RSL Speedwoofer mk2 with the DDRC-24. I am looking to keep the power amp under 1200 CAD but I know that's not always feasible. I plan to get a dedicated pre-amp in the future if the Heresy does not satisfy me.

If you're curious I also have a Feliks audio echo mk2 hooked up to the RCA switch-box for some tube enjoyment with my HD800s.

Please ask for more details if needed!

Thanks :)

I can't find anything wrong with your setup, you should be good to go! Hope this helps :)

Maybe Fosi Audio ZA3?

I got it working decently on my current setup. I do have to use the mini DSP console to control the volume of the sub properly which is not super convenient for me. I think I can get around that with a dedicated stereo power amp and a dedicated pre amp if I put the miniDSP in between them. That would be my end goal.

Are you happy with the LS50M speakers and do you use a HPF with the sub?

Ended up getting two Fosi V3 monoblock amps and am very pleased. Using the ddrc24 for crossover management and DIRAC.

@Mike_Trueman I am very happy with my speakers. Paired with a sub I have zero complaints. And I do manage crossovers with my ddrc24. I am in a small apartment so it's all I'll ever need unless I win the lottery.

Unfortunately I do have to switch sources via software on my desktop now instead of using my switch box which I greatly preferred. Any recommendations on some hardware that could solve that issue would be very welcomed :)
