I've only been a user of HEOS for about 3 months with a Kindle tablet & my Marantz SACD 30n. I use it solely for accessing my FLAC files plugged into the back of the 30n and occasional Tunein radio listening.
After the initial massive amount of faff to get it up and running, it really is a delight to use (I'm disabled so it's mega useful to me) but it's also incredibly glitchy at times, either refusing to recognise my device or demanding I sign in every time.
HEOS has been around long enough you'd think all bugs would be gone but alas they're not.
Only this morning (8th August, 10am, UK) it refused to open on my tablet and after several attempts it suddenly decided it needed to update itself. This took almost half an hour only to end with "Download Failed".
I switched everything off, waited 10 minutes and bingo---all is working fine.
Most odd.
Jay.
