Ok I will try that, yes the software it’s on the pc , it connect to the denon , but when I have to measure in the mic and speaker test section it goes on the denon Dirac app on the avr saying I got to open on my phone , I will try to disconnect the WiFi on my phone too tomorrow thanks! Will keep updated

The manual also states to hit the back button on the AVR remote and try again.

Does anyone know what settings I need to fiddle with to see the filter taps being used on the Dirac app (See attached screenshot).

Just bought a X3800H for 832 euro.

As an upgrade for my X4500H. I have three subwoofers in my home theater so I need more than two sub outputs.

Odd to call going from a 4xxx series to a 3xxx series an upgrade but at least you get something that's Dirac-capable at a great price!

The jump to that model was 525 euro.

Since I experienced what enormous impact room treatment (absorption) had in my room, I am somewhat hesitant to invest hundreds of euro’s more on a supposedly better measuring AV receiver.

Understood! Many of us have made a similar decision!

When I went from AV8801 to AVR-X4400H I considered it an upgrade too, at least it felt that way in terms of enjoyment, but the Marantz was nicer to look at for sure, even in that older style.

I need to buy another Denon for a family member. Can you tell me if this store is reliable, trustworthy? I've never bought anything there.
Thank you
Their trustpilot indicates they are legit with decent customer service. i reached out to them regarding sending x4800h to my country and they responded quickly and rather helpful. Others however can have different experiences, and I can only speak for my limited experience with them.

I realized they have a price match program and there are other shops that sell x4800h for cheaper. So I used the form and they offered that match price. As I already ordered I asked if that can be adjusted instead, and they agreed.
So far so good and if things go well I would get a x4800h for a very good price

This worth $1k used in good condition? Seems like prices jumped a bit with the addition of Dirac Art.

It's only for 2.1 so I could just use the Wiim Amp ultra. But seems like this is the only 'cheap' path to trying out Dirac Art.

Depends on new price and how long the warranty is. At least you can try negotiating with the seller.

Looks very interesting. Doesn't that website have any English version? I'm not big on Dutch language :p
I'd like to pull the plug on a X3800H + a SVS SB-1000 to go with it  Any tips?
Google translate works very well for Germanic languages. However they only ship to Benelux + Germany. You need to contact them if you want to ship elsewhere (supposedly still EU). They like most Dutch speak English very well

Exactly. That's why I find it odd that in 2026 a serious Dutch website doesn't have at least an English option. That's not really acceptable anymore, sorry.
Anyway, I've emailed them so we'll see. :)

Why? The staffs speak English well does not mean they have enough English speaking visitors for a translation. Do you know how much that would cost? For a few ones every day and most will be fine with Google translate?
