Hi
My X4400H started behaving erratically with the ghost headphones detection and front panel display going on and off. I was able to find the problem. It is the 26-pig 1mm pitch FFC cable. I found a generic replacement on Amazon, but the original cable seems to be shielded with aluminium adhesive tape (Faraday tape?). The Amazon one is not. Does this really matter? Do I need to coat it with conductive copper tape?
