Im currently using a denon 3800h in pre amp mode with tonewinner ad8300pa amp powering its 11 channels. Ive recently added two tonewinner d6000s.
What vrms setting should i use for the subs so that it works well with the denon? I find 1.4 to be a good match but the 2.0 vrms feels very impactful and cleaner in loud scenes though i lose out on midbass that the 1.4 vrms mode gives. Anyone with similar experience?
Ps sorry if this is the wrong thread, this is my first post here

Not sure what you mean by this -where are you setting it? On the subs, or on the AVR.

Either way - you really want Audyssey to intergrate the subs. I strongly recommend looking at @OCA's Audyssey One scripts to automate the setting up.

If you are using Audyssey, then you should leave it set at whatever it was when you ran the calibration. Otherwise, you will be effectively changing the gain into the sub (I think), and unbalance the bass.

Whatever you set it to, Audyssey will adjust the output to the sub to set the bass level correctly.

Thanks! Will do that
