SOLVED: I'm embarrassed to admit that I was clicking on the title field instead of the numerical entry field. Feel free to delete this post as it might confuse people.

I recently purchased a MiniDSP DDRC-24 that I am using in a 2.1 stereo setup with 2 main speakers and a subwoofer. I'm would like to set the "Delay" on each of the outputs based on differences in the speaker distance. But the "Delay" buttons are greyed out on the MiniDSP Device Console outputs, and nothing happens when I click on them. Is there a setting I have to enable to make them active? I also have the same issue with the "Gain" buttons. I attached an image showing the un-highlighted buttons below. I tried reinstalling the Device Console software to reinitialize all settings but that didn't help. I'm kind of stuck on this so I would appreciate any help or advice...8-]

Have you tried clicking on the 0 below "Delay (ms)" and "Gain (dB)"?

I think that's where you actually change the values.

Thank you! That was exactly the issue. The lesson learned here is never try to experiment with a new toy at the end of the day when you're tired. I'm thoroughly humbled now lol!

Hi. I'd be interested to know their delay ranges -and resolution as well ( I see 'ms displayed, a min. of 1ms? .1ms, less?) Don't see it in the docs, manual etc.
Thanks :)

Perhaps better not. I have pretty reliable information that happens to more people when working with the miniDSP's.

The setting format 0.00 ms, it's in the manual.

Time delay

A delay of up to 30 ms can be applied to each output channel. To set the delay, click on the delay button for a channel. The delay value can be entered by moving the slider or it can be entered numerically. The up and down arrow keys can be used to change the delay in 0.02 ms increments.

On my version of the MiniDSP Device Console which is 1.1.17, the Delay can set from 0 --> 30ms to a resolution of 2 decimal places. The Gain can be set from -72 --> +12dB to a resolution of 1 decimal place. Hope that helps.
