Decision between Genelec 8351B and 8341 , existing pair of subs

Subs will give you bass extension no doubt, <80hz. But bass goes to 300Hz, and the crossover point for the bass drivers in the 8351 is from memory >400Hz. Not sure about 8341 or 8331, but they are going to be higher.
What I mean is as you go up in size in the Ones its not just about bass extension, but SPL and distortion. The bigger you go the better the sound, even with subs.

Personally I would always choose the larger speaker, higher output more versatile in terms of listening distance .
