If you are considering a deeper venture into home audio, consider the following...
Benchmark Integrated System
It would be a 3(?) rackspace 19" rack mountable (or not), all in one, modular, expandable, integrated amp containing...
1 AHB - with a "slot" to install a second, switch them to mono for more power (all it's input/outputs)
1 DAC3 - in a slot that could be upgraded to DAC4 (nudgenudge)
1 HPA4 headphone amp (and all it's input/outputs)
It would have a new UI controller module with a display similar to the LA4 but larger and perhaps more graphical like eversolos etc. (yes I mean meters).
1 Room Eq module (optional at purchase) that would contain a mic input for REW and would apply filters if user wanted.
And it would start at $7,000 (one amp). Yes I would like some fries with that.
