maybe just that the people who may have been concerned are already equipped...like earthworks etc....
(and for most people...the classic Dayton models are enough...)

Good find.

It would be interesting to know the noise spec and who makes the capsule for them. Since their main business is DIY speaker components, their CD and software is a relatively low cost tool for speaker designers. 40kHz is mainly useful for scientific ultrasonic recordings, or experimental sound artists and sound effect recorders recording ultrasonics, then downconverting them to audible. You can get some unusual sounds that way.
