I have two pair of vintage 15" Cerwin Vega woofers. Each pair was used in a different loudspeaker assembly.

I ran Free Air Parameters using a DATS V3. Some of the data is given below.

The woofers appear to virtually identical physically and both were used in vented enclosures. The volume of the AT15 enclosure is approixmately 31% greater than that of the E315s.

Can any general assumptions be made about how the woofers will perform in comparison to each other?

Can any general assumptions be made about the best applications for them?

I apologize for my ignorance and thank you in advance for your responses.

I don't have an intuitive feel for the Thiele-Small parameters but you can plug them into speaker design software and model/virtually experiment with different cabinet designs/sizes. (I have WinISD which is FREE.)

...The original design may not have been "optimum", or what you consider optimum.

My original plan was to rebuild the AT15s, but after exchanging multiple messages with a very patient member of ASR, I decided to replace them with a pair of Adam T5V satellites and T10S sub. So, I will put the Cerwin Vega drivers up for sale.
