Darlington MP7B and AT-VM745xML pairing?

Actually, It told me this straight out when I questioned it on where it’s getting its information .. it says it does a cross examination of the actual brand product information the math and a cross reference of what people are saying about the products on message boards and it specifically said “like the Steve Hoffman forums” (It’s actually what pointed my here after I said I wanted a humans opinion)

I consider myself a novice as well, but over the past year or two I've been getting a little more serious about it. Been listening for a while, but never got into the details to improve. My system is not super high quality but I try to max out what I have for my small living room. Currently I know my bottleneck is my avr as I've always prioritized surround sound to stereo. Hopefully changing that soon to stereo receiver. But I have a Darlington Labs MP7B, AT-LPW40WN, Vm500 generator (from my Vm540ml) with a 45xml stylus. The full Vm745xml is too heavy for my tonearm, and after some reading I saw the new generator isn't a massive upgrade. I've owned the 45xml stylus for a month or so, and it's been stellar. From a pure listening standpoint, my 45xml has been an improvement. The mids stand out more, improved channel seperation, higher detail, deeper bass that's really noticeable when I change my avr to pure direct mode. It supposedly turns off other signals that would produce noise, digital conversion, bass response. So it's just my left/right RP-280s doing the work. I also utilize the A1 Evo Express program for room correction over Denon Audyssey. I just started getting into jazz, more acoustic records. I think the magic is in the MP7B's jumpers. The AT carts are known to have sharp highs so my settings are the following... 0 capacitance, 38k resistance, HF Treble Boost +2, gain down to +37 from the stock +40 with a 1.5ft WBC low capacitance cable from my turntable to my MP7B. What I wanted was a more accurate and detailed experience. I'm very happy with the 45xml and MP7B pairing, but mostly due to the preamp's ability to adjust. I always try to max out what I have, and so far I believe I've done that until I make equipment changes. Darlington Labs responsiveness, customer service, build quality, and upgrade program justified the price for me. $565 for an buy once cry once preamp was worth it. I have too many hobbies to go much further than changing my receiver. And the wife noticed the detail change when playing her collection, she doesn't even know I switched stylus nor cares. That's the real test lol.
