Danny at GR getting bad Talk Back from many of his viewers

That's from the GR Reserach Klipsch RP-600M mod (Amir has measured) isn't it? To me it looks like this particular GR Research mod looks good and also Amir concluded "Overall, this is a job well done by GR Research and I am going to recommend it to owners if they are not inclined to use my software EQ fix.". Original response measured by Amir looked far worth:

Yes, this is one of the earlier Klipsch speakers, and no dispute that the GR upgrade is an overall improvement with the caveat of EQ as simpler alternative.

All this goes to the point about good practice. Not sure about the earlier cases, but the Klipsch tower had known measurements to use a baseline for comparison. Danny should have taken time to compare EAC's measures vs his and then (hopefully) would not have made the same claim (and applied a different fix?). As it stands, the GR results are not credible or trustworthy.

I have to say, Amirs test examination of Danny's Ascend upgrade was amazing. All I can say in street talk is Amir gutted him like a fish. Well done Amir! LOL

While noteworthy that Danny actually considered baselining one of his upgrades, helps if check to make sure you are comparing the same version though.

Danny has acted like he will do some learning and it never happens. It usually devolves into an invite to go to Danny's place and listen, still with no Klippel anywhere near the product! He has way too much to lose by engaging in actually learning about the Klippel and then he would have to admit he doesn't know diddly squat about it and how it works and then tell his audience he has been wrong for over 10 years! It will never happen as that would kill off the mystique of owning a real GR Research crossover mod. What a tangled web we weave when we first deceive.....

Erin is such a nice guy and will do most anything to avoid confrontation, so if he does tell someone how he really feels (negatively), it's usually in a polite manor.

You have been very mislead. I like Erin, but having him measure a speaker will not tell you how it sounds. It will only show you a level of accuracy. He measured one of mine. It measured great. That still doesn't tell you everything.

I get it, but guess was just willing to grant some benefit of doubt that Danny actually might do what he says. It did not take long for him to renege and reveal his true plan. Here is what he posted later to another member on his youtube channel about Erin’s Klippel measurements…

What they do that is special isn't seen in the measurements, or at least not the ones that he takes. I'd love to have him over for a listen though.

Between the Ascend, the Klipsch tower and this JBL, Danny is trending in the wrong direction. Those last two have not involved Amir at all, so Danny cannot try to blame him for those errors.

I'd never heard of Vera Fi Audio before, but I'm guessing that we should spread the warning? According to cheapaudioman's video above, even after his 1st charity fraud, he went on to scam/steal others, and like they say in French: "Jamais 2 sans 3". And yep, reddit has a warning scam thread about him, so doesn't look good...
