Hi Everyone!

I'm considering getting a pair of Dan Clark E3 headphones to replace my original HD600s (I usually prefer open back phones, but Dan's opens backs are too expensive for me).

I currently run a Topping DX3Pro+ to drive headphones and I'm really happy with it, would this be enough to satisfy the E3s?

Also, the E3s come with a number of connections options (XLR, 1/4" etc.) Would I be sacrificing any quality by choosing a 3.5mm connector over the XLR?

Thanks all!

Only buy what you can afford to lose :D

I’m not sure what you mean. Would you recommend a new amp or not?
