Hello everyone.
This is my first post here, but I've been lurking for quite some time.
Recently I bought Adam Audio T5V monitors and I'm wondering how can I connect my system together that it would work seamlessly.
Current setup looks like this: RPI moode as network streamer -> USB into SMSL Sannskrit MKII -> RCA into NAD C320 (as pre amp) -> RCA into T5V.
I also have turntable which is connected with RCA to NAD C320.
What I'd like to achive is to get rid of NAD C320, change dac to something with XLR . It would be great if it would also support RCA input so I can also connect my turntable.
If there are no such devices I'm thinking about connecting my turntable with phono pre amp directly to T5V using RCA, while DAC would be connected via XLR.
Not sure if it all makes sense, so tips and sugestions are more than welcome.

Hi @ogoor93! Welcome to ASR.

The FiiO K9, K9 AKM, and K9 Pro ESS have XLR Line out and RCA Line in.

You'll need a phono preamp or some other RIAA correction unless your turntable has one built in.
And your looking for a ADC/DAC (audio interface) not just a DAC.
There's many options and price ranges. You should refer to ASRs reviews of audio interfaces to find exactly what you need.

Thank you for your replies. The FiiO K9 seems to be a good solution; however, the price is a bit high compared to the rest of my setup. I found the WiiM Pro Plus on my own, but it lacks an XLR output. Is XLR vs RCA a big difference?
If you have any other suggestions, I would be grateful.
